Yes. Every Brutally Honest Guide™ is custom. Our system identifies the exact questions your clients are already searching for answers to, then we combine that research with your expertise through a structured interview. How fast can we launch?

Typically 4-6 weeks after your interview and approvals. That includes research, writing, editing, design, and funnel setup. Ghostwriters and traditional publishing often drag on for months or years; we deliver a marketing-ready book in weeks.

Do I own the book?

No, and that's the point. You license the whole system rather than buy a manuscript once. That's what keeps the entry price low and keeps your book current instead of frozen the day it ships. Your leads are always yours and export free. If you ever want to own your words, the Manuscript Buyout ($9,500) gets you an unbranded edition to publish anywhere.

What happens if I leave?

Your leads export free, and your title goes back on the market for someone else to claim. We take down the Amazon listing and disable the hosted book, site, and email. You can't keep using the Brutally Honest Guide™ edition, design, or name. If you want to keep publishing your content, buy the Manuscript Buyout ($9,500) and walk away with an unbranded edition of your book.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. You can switch between Title, Engine, and Amplify anytime. Upgrades come with a pro-rata credit from your current plan, and your Title Claim carries across so you never pay it twice. Downgrades are simple too: we pause the services you're no longer using and your account continues at the new level. You're never stuck in the wrong plan.

How many printed copies do I get?

It depends on your tier. Title starts with 25 paperbacks and 5 hardbacks. Engine, 50 and 10. Amplify, 100 and 10 at launch plus 25 paperbacks every quarter. Amplify Pro, 200 and 25 plus 50 paperbacks a month for referral-partner editions. Hardbacks are your desk-handoff copies for serious prospects. Reorder anytime at print cost plus handling, cheaper than retail.

Is my book on Amazon?

Yes. Every book is published on Amazon (Kindle and paperback) in the Brutal Guides account, priced near cost. It's a verification channel, not a sales channel: prospects look you up, and a real listing proves you're legitimate. When your license ends, the listing comes down.

Do I get royalties?

No. Retail copies are priced near cost, and any royalties stay with us. Across a typical title they wouldn't cover a decent lunch. Your book's job is conversations, not book sales. That's the whole design.

Is this compliant for advisors?

The book and funnel are written to be reviewed under the SEC Marketing Rule: no testimonials without the required disclosure framework, no performance claims, no guarantee-of-results language. Every manuscript ships compliance-annotated so your CCO can check it fast, and exports are archiving-ready for your books-and-records obligations. What if I already have a book?

That's fine. An existing book can complement your Brutally Honest Guide™. We can reference it in your nurture content, or adapt some of the content into the Brutal format for stronger positioning and lead generation. Many clients come to us after a traditional or ghostwritten book failed to deliver leads. The Brutal system fixes that.
